Ship fumigation

Ships often contain (partial) wooden structures, which may be visible or invisible. Wood destroying insects such as the longhorn beetle, woodworm, common furniture beetle and deathwatch beetle may therefore be present in your ship, dinghy or yacht. EWS offers the perfect solution to combat these wood destroying insects: ship fumigation!

To fumigate ships or fumigate yachts, the structure is made gas-tight and secured against unauthorized access. The ship or yacht will be packed into gas-tight tarps. The gas is then inserted into the structure, after which the concentration is closely monitored during a 48 hour period.

Once the right gas concentration has been present long enough to neutralise all wood destroying insects, the ship fumigation or yacht fumigation process is ended and EWS ventilates the object until all residual gases have dissipated.
